Monday Stress Relief

It strikes me that we have two things going against us (at least in the U.S.) today. An intense political climate and the fact that it's Monday. So to help you relax a little, here are a few pictures of my cats. They are siblings born almost a year ago on Friday the 13th, making their all black fur extra fun! They've been a part of our family since January when they were old enough to leave their mama.

Whisper (who is actually really loud)

Jett (who we refer to as parkour kitty)

Jett is big with medium length fur. Whisper is small with short sleek fur.
If a black cat crosses your path - pet it.

Make it a great week!

  1. They say black cats have a harder time getting adopted, but I think they're the prettiest.

    1. We didn't even think about the fact that they were black when we adopted them. Clearly we aren't superstitious. ;)

  2. They are adorable. Look at those beautiful eyes. My son has a black cat that somebody dumped on the road in front of our house. There were four tiny kittens in a box. Two ran away and he couldn't catch them. One died, and the one that survived is precious.

    1. Whisper's eyes are especially beautiful. When I was a teen we had a mama cat abandon her litter on our patio. We kept two, but one was taken by coyotes. It was so sad. But the other, Trouble, was around for years and lived up to his name. Cats are fun.

  3. Adorable kitty pictures! Definitely a nice stress reliever in this heated election season.

    1. I'd like to say I can't wait for it to be over, but I don't think it will actually end when the election results are broadcast. :(
